After attending UW Madison, Kari lived in Singapore and Australia for a while – where she was able to experience both amazing travel and gastronomical opportunities and enjoy meeting people from a variety of different cultures and backgrounds. Eventually though, she returned happily to her home town of Stoughton where she turned her passion for real estate into her chosen career. She knew that getting to know people’s stories and experiences and helping them find their perfect home was exactly the right fit for her. In her profession, Kari is fortunate to be able to forge friendships with many people from all walks of life and cultures. It’s fascinating how our histories connect us – and she has often discovered connections through friends and family histories!
While she works in all aspects of real estate – residential, luxury, second home, investment property, commercial – first-time home buyers are always near and dear to Kari’s heart. Helping a client into their first home and then watching them begin their life, start a family, follow new career opportunities is very rewarding.
Kari is an 18-year resident of Lake Kegonsa. She loves all aspects of waterfront living – especially watching the seasonal changes and wildlife – she is an avid paddle-boarder and member of the Friends of Lake Kegonsa, Yahara Lakes Association and a sustainer of Clean Lakes Alliance. As a past Board of Directors member of the Stoughton Chamber of Commerce, she created a wine-tasting fundraiser, showcasing local vendors and artists, to benefit scholarship programs. She truly values being an active member of the vibrant community in which she lives and looks forward to the opportunity to serve both the community and her clients for many more years!
